Our History

Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning was established in 1993 by Wayne Dodd and Bryan Williams. Most of our focus was on residential HVAC services until Jeremy Panter joined the team in 2001. With his guidance, the commercial services side of our company grew significantly.

In 2003, Advanced Heating moved to a larger facility at 200 North, where we stayed until 2011 when we moved again to our current location at 1465 North.

In 2005, we decided to start Advanced Fireplace and Stove—creating The Advanced Companies as a means to serve our customers better. A year later, in 2006, Jeremy purchased Bryan’s portion of the business.

Jeremy and Wayne recognized the need to expand the fireplace showroom as customer needs and market share grew. They transformed it into a 3,000-square-foot showroom with over 30 fireplace displays, adding six outdoor burning displays and fall outdoor patio arrangements to better serve the growing outdoor market.

Surviving the recession for Advanced Heating & Air Conditioning was a grueling challenge in 2007. Although comfort was still necessary, things weren’t easy. Advanced stuck to its core principles of customer care, honest pricing, and quality craftsmanship and continued to grow in the following years.

Today, Advanced and our exceptional 50-plus employees are led by Jeremy Panter.

Commercial and Construction Service Expansion

Since 2010, Advanced Heating & Air Conditioning has expanded its office and construction management ability to better serve our commercial and CM/GC market. Our market offerings branched to include Mechanical Management and Mechanical Design Build.

In 2022, Advanced joined the Midway Mechanical Services family! This partnership allows us to better serve our Northern Utah commercial market.
